Things are only getting better for Blair Conklin who started the season with a 3rd place finish in Santa Cruz, followed it up with a second place result in Outer Banks and then last weekend took the win in Dewey. With Four contests counting this season Blair is starting to look like he will be tough to catch if he racks up a strong finish at the Vic this weekend. Sam McCoy took second in Delaware boosting him into the top 10 while John Weber racked up another third place result landing him in 3rd place on the tour. The battle for second place remains wide open. Can someone take out Blair in an earlier round this weekend and keep the dream alive for the first place spot? We will see soon enough!
The Women’s tour started out in Dewey this year and hometown hero and 2017 Champ Sophia Nguyen started things off strong taking the win on her home turf. Former world champ Casey Kiernan was not far behind in second place while Alex Yokley and Ellen Wood rounded out the top 4.
