The season is off to a great start.
All time conditions in Cabo San Lucas yielded what were probably the heaviest contest conditions in history. After years of runner-up finishes, local hero Juan Carlos Nazario (“Bullo”) took the win at his home break in a well deserved victory.
The Southside contest went down in Delaware the very next weekend where Austin Keen danced all over the competition taking the win at the contest for the third year in a row. The man is close to unstoppable at this place!
Then in mid-June the came the Sununga event, one of the most anticipated of the year. The conditions never seem to disappoint at this place and this year was no exception. In fact, it might have been the best Sununga event yet. but you don’t have to take our word for it, because this year for the first time ever there was a live web feed of the event! Like last year, it again came down to Leandro Azevedo and Blair Conklin. But unlike last year, Blair came away with the win this year which places him right on top of the current UST standings.
The next event is coming up in Outer Banks North Carolina in late July.
