2013 VIC, Laguna Beach, CA

Blair Conklin took his first victory at Aliso last weekend in some of the best conditions at the event in years.  In doing so he jumped up to fifth on the tour.  Brandon Sears came in second at the event moving up to seventh on the tour followed by Sam Stinnett who secured his top tour spot further with a third place finish.  The top four was rounded out by Bill Bryan who was able to pick up some points putting him in contention for the rest of the season.  Teddy Vlasis and Morgan Just picked up fifth and sixth at the event solidifying their ranks on the tour.  Perry Pruitt and Austin Keen both failed to make the top eight but still picked up some points at 10th and 11th and remain in 2nd and 3rd place on the tour for now.  Things are tight in the top five and all riders will need to place well at the coming events to even hold onto their spots.

This event marked the very first Womens UST event and Keiao Bucasas jumped out to an early lead followed by fellow Hawaiian Kelliher Lanakila and Steff Mags.

The next stop for both the Women and the Men will be in two weeks in North Carolina.
