Fink and Kiernan Grab Victory in OBX, NC

Lucas Fink Backside Turn | Photo: Maggie Fernandez (IG) Lucas Fink of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil won the professional Men’s division, and Casey Kiernan of Stuart, FL won the professional Women’s division at the 2022 OBX SkimJam skimboarding competition on July 16th and 17th at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head, NC. UST 2022 Schedule Announced

The 2022 United Skim Tour event schedule features six stops for the men and three stops for the women. The TAC Skimblast is back on tour after a two year hiatus, kicking off the tour in Santa Cruz, California. Then there are two east coast stops, first the OBX Skim Jam in North Carolina, followed by the Zap Championships in Dewey Beach, Delaware. UST Champion Gerardo Valencia Finishes Third as Blair Conklin and Sophia Nguyen Repeat their Wins in Newport Beach The Exile Oktoberfest in Newport Beach, CA was held on September 25th and 26th on the south side of the Balboa Pier, one of the premier skimboard spots in Southern California. Burnett and Nguyen both Claim First at Vilano Beach in St. Augustine Florida contest director Steve Pullara has always chosen his contest dates for mid August to line up with solid weekend high tides and Florida’s hurricane season. Ashmore Secures First Win while Nguyen Returns to Leader Position Dewey Beach, DE delivered rippable East Coast conditions as the professional men and professional women sought to gain UST points at the Zap Pro/Am Championships held on August 13th, 14th and 15th. This was the second contest of the 2021 season for the professional men and the first contest of the season for the professional women. 2021 UST Schedule

The United Skim Tour is excited to announce the Men’s and Women’s schedules for the 2021 season. After a difficult 2020, during which no contests were held due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud to share that the UST is returning for a complete season in 2021. Riders will have a chance to compete among the best skimboarders in the world on both the east and west coasts of the US. The ongoing effects of COVID-19 have created challenges for organizing in-person events and competitions over the past year. Despite these challenges, the United Skim Tour is hopeful that we will be able to operate a full tour in 2021. We are working closely with local organizers to plan events for this upcoming 2021 season. We will update the event schedule when we have additional information.
