Conklin Returns to Win the Vic while Fink Clinches UST Title

For the professional men’s division of the UST, this was the fifth of six events. The pro men’s division included 42 skimboarders including riders from Brazil, Mexico, Japan, the east coast, and California. Fink and White Victorious in Delaware

Lucas Fink Backside Hack | Photo by John Yeatman (Website | IG) The Zap World Championships of Skimboarding took place at Dewey Beach, DE on August 11th through 13th, presented by Alley Oop Skim and Skim USA. The contest had 30 professional men and 8 professional women including riders from Brazil, Mexico, California, and up and down the east coast. The conditions were excellent throughout the weekend, with offshore winds and 2-3 foot waves on all three days. For the professional men, Lucas Fink of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil finished in the top spot, his second UST win of the year.

Valencia and McCullough Take First Wins of 2023 at OBX

Lucas Fink Returns to Top Spot in Santa Cruz, CA

Lucas Fink Takes the Lead

Lucas Fink traveled all the way from Brazil for the first stop of the 2018 United Skim Tour and it paid off!  He took the win during a standout performance that sets the tone for the rest of the season.  He is currently the man to beat both in points and psychologically. 4 time champ Sam Stinnett took second place while 2017 and 2016 champ Blair Conklin snagged the 3rd place spot at an event he almost always performs well at. OBX Results Update – 2014

The Outer Banks, NC event went down last weekend in challenging and varied conditions.  Heavy rain and wind on day one gave way to sunny skies on day two. 2013 Balboa Oktoberfest, Newport Beach, CA

At the Oktoberfest event, Austin Keen pulled out the greatest come from behind victory in UST history edging just above 2x champ Sam Stinnett in the final event of the year.  Sam had led the tour all year long but Austin found his rhythm in the last two events surging ahead to become the first ever UST champion who learned his craft on the east coast.  Although Austin now calls Southern California home, skimboarders in his native state of Georgia must surely be cheering for the new champ.
